First, get a copy of the repository with, for example:
git clone https://github.com/allali/lasercut.git
Then, find the location of your extension directory: In inkscape, go to edit -> preferences -> system. Copy *.py *.inx to the "User extensions" directory.
Run inkscape, open Extensions -> Laser Cut -> Box and set the properties for your surface. Use the live preview to understand the parameters.
