Chess-Extension enhances your experience on the chess.stjo.dev website by introducing a dedicated statistics panel right in your Chrome browser.
- Clone the Repository: Begin by cloning this repository to your local machine. You can do this by executing the following command in your terminal:
git clone https://github.com/Ell1ott/chess-extension.git-
Access Chrome Extensions: Open a new tab in your Chrome browser and navigate to
chrome://extensions/. Alternatively, you can click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner, select "More tools," and then click on "Extensions." -
Enable Developer Mode: Activate the developer mode by toggling the switch located in the top right corner of the Extensions page. This mode allows you to load and test extensions that are not yet published on the Chrome Web Store.

Load the Extension: Once developer mode is enabled, you will notice new options. Click on the "Load unpacked" button. A file dialog will appear.

Select the Repository Folder: Navigate to the directory where you cloned the repository in step 1. Select the repository folder and confirm your selection.
