Pre-Commercializing Changes

NOTE: This will be the first published version that I use GitHub as a storage repo for my script, so releases prior to v1.4.1 will not be available.

So, this is the second round of structural code changes as I move closer to 'generalizing' the script to allow for a broader audience and more lenient use (regarding overall script function and device compatibilities). Will need to run one last series of tests against IOS-Classic, IOS-XE, and NX-OS platforms before releasing a production-ready v1.4.2.

Notable Changes:

  1. Updates to README.md. Included sections for:
  • requirements.txt file content
  • WHAT, WHY, and DISCLAIMER
  • details on planned Future Releases
  • ways to contact me for questions, ideas, etc.

  1. Added a sample file that users can test at run-time with no prior knowledge of how. This easily and quickly allows users to see real outcomes if they were to provided a bulk-device csv file for quickly generating 2 or more devices instantly.

  2. Added Apache-2.0 License since I now plan to progress beyond physical lab and CMLv2 testing, and to go public with this.
