| 👷 | Blockchain | A digital database containing information that can be simultaneously used or shared within a large decentralized, publicly accessible network .A blockchain is a digital record of transactions in which individual records, called blocks, are linked together in a single list, called a chain. Blockchains are used for recording transactions and have many other applications. Each transaction added to a blockchain is validated by multiple computers on the internet. These systems monitor specific types of transactions, form a peer to peer networks. They work together to ensure each transaction is valid before it's added to the blockchain. This decentralized network of computers ensures that a single system can't add invalid blocks to the chain.
When new blocks are added to the chain, it's linked to the previous block by a cryptographic hash generated from the content of the previous block ensuring the chain is never broken and that each block is permanently recorded.|
