This information is temporary. These are just notes taken when reading the icestudio code for understanding it better

  • Icestudio APP Entry point: app/scripts/app.js

    • The Plugin manager and Logger are created
    • The board information is read from the .json files and store into the common.boards object
  • Boards: app/scripts/services/boards.js (Information in the comments)

    • The Board files are located in app/resources/boards/<board-name>

Global objects:

  • common: Defined in app/scripts/services/common.js

Execution

  • The first file processed is app/index.html. There can be found the css files (style) and all the .js files
