Description
This extension allows you to capture a portion of the screen and save it to a text variable as a base64 encoded file and load base64 encoded images from text variables to a sprite.
How to use the extension
The CaptureScreen function lets you set an X and Y starting point, a Width and Height to define the area being captured and save it to a selected scene text Variable as a base64 encoded jpeg. Encoded images can be saved to global variables, sent to and received from other players via MQTT or server requests. The LoadBase64ToSprite function lets you replace the image of a sprite with an image encoded in a text variable (scene or global). Combined with the RealCamera plugin, you can capture, save, transfer and use images from your webcam as avatars/sprites in your game.
