What is MicroHacks Website?

MicroHacks Website is the website for µHacks (also known as "MicroHacks") and its hackathons. It includes information about the schedule, the mini-events, the prizes, among other information.

Motivation

μHacks is a hackathon which aims to show participants that they can create "μprojects" (microprojects) with BIG impact. As such, the organization wanted to make a website to better spread the word about the event and invite people to participate.

Installation and usage

To build the project from its source code, follow the next steps:

  1. Install NodeJS and NPM:
    • You can find the latest version of NodeJS and Node Package Manager here.
  2. Install the dependencies:
    1. Open a terminal in the root directory of the project.
    2. Use the command npm install to install the required dependencies.
  3. Build the project.
    1. Open a terminal in the root directory of the project.
    2. Use the command npm run dev to start a development environment and npm run build to create a production build.
