This is a major release in which: 1) the xray_tt_albedo.pro and xray_tt_albedo_arr.pro have been updated to allow for arbitrary distances between the Sun and Observer and arbitrary spacecraft line of sights; and 2) The gxisogauss surface object have been introduces, along with the gx_display_manager.pro GUI utility, which may be used to generate, manage, and display such iso gauss surfaces.

This is the first Zenodo release of the gx_simulator SSW IDL data-constrained modeling package of solar active regions and flaring loops, the most up to date version of which is publicly available from https://github.com/Gelu-Nita/GX_SIMULATOR. This package integrates a series of GitHub submodules that are independently developed and maintained by the members of the gx_simulator development team. To ensure that the latest version of all packages is used at any given time, the upgrade instructions provided in the README.md file should be followed.
