History

Glance started off as a project for a hackathon called Hack Upstate; it was the 14th installment of the event hosted in Syracuse, NY. Gavin R. Isgar, a local developer in the area, was working on the project solely, using his self-taught skills to develop a web-application that can be used to easily configure server bots without needing any coding experience. Gavin working on Glance The solution was simple: Many streamers and their communities have mentioned the difficulties regarding setting up bots in their servers to do exactly what they want them to do. The process has been known as being too complex or a hassle. With a human-readable GUI experience, those issues should no longer exist. Gavin, pictured in yellow, setting up Glance for the first time Glance's primary advantage is the ability to allow channel moderators to customize the bot experience without writing code or remembering specific prefixes or syntax. With an easy-to-navigate GUI, setting up bots has never been easier!
