A complete and regularly powered android soundbox
Soundbox France is a partly open source mobile application with the source code for the operation of the application available on this page. The development of Soundbox France began in 2017 and was made available directly to users on the Google Play Store. The application has so far reached the stage of 375,000 unique installations and to celebrate that I have decided to make some of the source code open access. Soundbox France was developed when I was in high school and in DUT Informatique and has never been a professional project but a project for learning. Soundbox France is definitely a French application.
In this part, I will list the features of the application.
- 1400 sounds can be found on the soundbox. These sounds are divided into several categories like "Memes", "Movies", "Video Games", "TV", "Opening" ...
- A place to store your favorite sounds
- Possibility to share a sound with friends on instant messaging applications like Messenger, WhatsApp
- You can also search for a specific sound through all of its sounds
- Each sound can be set as ringtone, notification or alarm
- And finally you can propose a sound thanks to a google form available through the application
