PurC Fetcher

PurC Fetcher is a remote data fetcher for PurC.

Introduction

This software is a part of HVML project.

PurC Fetcher runs as a standalone process to fetch data from the given remote URLs for your C/C++ program. It is derived from WebKit.

If you want your HVML program can fetch data from a remote URLs, you need build and install this software to your system.

Note that, although PurC Fetcher runs as a proxy for PurC, you can use PurC Fetcher for your any generic C/C++ program.

Currently, PurC Fetcher only runs on Linux system. It is possible to run it on macOS, but we did not test it yet. We encourage everyone to port PurC Fetcher to other platforms, such as Windows, Android, iOS, etc.

Note that, PurC Fetcher depends on glib 2.44+, gio, and libsoup.
