currently in progress of porting the docpad site, but in that process, part of the port was converting the old styles anyways to make it compatible with 11ty, so figured i should just upgrade it all together
this PR does a biiit of backporting for the last remainging docpad stuff (documentation pages) but otherwise should be clean for currently ported pages!
theres some to-dos I need to fix though, but it's all in place right now!
