Shims Delayed Job's delay and handle_asynchronously methods into Resque
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'delayed_job_shim_for_resque'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install delayed_job_shim_for_resque
At this point, this should be used with caution. It monkey-patches over Delayed Job so that you can migrate to Resque.
For now this supports:
.delay()
.delay(run_at: <TIME>)
::handle_asynchronously
All three options support passing in a :to => parameter like:
.delay(to: :low_priority)
.delay(run_at, 60.seconds.from_now, to: :low_priority)
::handle_asynchronously :send_emails, :to => :low_priority
