No comments to the model, we use this as a final draft for further work
- Example based on an existing standard: Knut will test with 19131 (in cooperation with Magnus)
- TODO: https://github.com/ISO-TC211/AutomatedDocumentation/issues/3
- Pilot projects: ISO 19157-1, ISO 19160-6, ISO 19170-X?
- Besides, OGC Testbed 17 includes activities on model-driven documentation and requirements on UML models. The work there has just started and will be finalized in December 2021. Will probably use CityGML 3.0 as a test case.
Updating the documentation on https://github.com/ISO-TC211/UML-Best-Practices/wiki/DocumentationOfUmlModels
- We will start updating the documentation now, with additional improvements based on experiences from OGC Testbed 17.
- Tobias and Heidi volunteered to review the content and start the work on updated documentation.
- TODO: ref https://github.com/ISO-TC211/AutomatedDocumentation/issues/1
- Demonstration from Ron/Ribose on full model-driven documentation, with ISO 19170-1 as an example. Extracts content from XMI files, and fetches diagrams directly from EA. Definitions and other notes in EA may need more structure.
One meeting left before the next ISO/TC 211 plenary:
- Meeting #7: May 20th, 13:00-15:00 CEST
- Update the existing documentation (https://github.com/ISO-TC211/UML-Best-Practices/wiki/DocumentationOfUmlModels) & https://github.com/ISO-TC211/UML-Best-Practices/blob/master/DocumentationOfUMLModels/Automatic%20generation%20of%20documentation%20from%20UML%20models.docx based on findings from this group. Github only, not Word document.
- Recommend the use of MDD for ISO/TC 211 standards
- Present a conceptual model for normative statements as an extension of ISO 19105, with implementation examples
- Future NWIP for the conceptual model for normative statements
