I have been enjoying Animal Crossing New Horizon and stumbled upon a villager popularity list. I wondered about the factors contributing to the popularity of the different villagers and decided to do up a Shiny dashboard to explore. The project involves web scraping from different sources.
The web application allows users to explore a variety of ranking, such as gender, personality, species, horoscope etc
In the overall ranking tab, users can input the name of a villager to check our the historical ranking. In addition, users can also switch to the villagers tab to explore the rankings
