The 42 Piscine is an intensive one-month program that exposes participants to the school's teaching methods, including peer-to-peer learning, group work, peer evaluation, and project-based learning. Participants dive headfirst into the work methods of 42 students for 26 days, engaging in intensive learning and dedicating a month to mastering programming skills.

This repository contains code developed at 42 Piscine, from 08/01/2024 to 02/02/2024 #🏊 9 Porto42.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU PASS THE EXAM

Logging into and setting up an exam

1-Login with exam / exam at the login screen
2-Open a terminal and type kinit username and your password after the prompt
3-Type examshell in a terminal to begin

During the exam

1-Don't forget to clean up, comment, remove your testing code execs, and libraries prior to submission
2-Don't forget to push your code regularly in the rendu/ directory to vogsphere before typing grademe and y in the examshell terminal
3-Read through all of the subjects and examples again before final submission

Before Exams

1- You should Learn Functions Loops Condition Arrays Strings before exam 00
2- You should Learn argc & argv & malloc and free before exam01/exam02
3- You Should Learn Makefile Library Header Pointers-Functions before final exam

Piscine sum up

  • Projects have no deadline for delivery.
  • Projects can be submitted as many times as necessary.
  • Once you set a project as finshed, you have one day to be evaluated, oherwise the system will auto eval
  • Before the first exam, study Git, add, commit, push are essential.
  • Every Friday there is an exam, so set aside time to study.
  • As soon as registration for the exam begins SIGN UP!
  • Every weekend there is Rush, make an effort to deliver Rush00, the others are more difficult.
  • If you're not going to do Rush, don't sign up.
  • Do not copy.
  • Learn VIM, don't be boring!, it's not that bad :q
  • Learn gdb and valgrind, they will save your life in the third week. man gdb, man valgrind
  • Live and enjoy the Piscine experience, there are things that are better to learn there, so avoid spoilers.
