Introduction
The kano-feedback package contains a set of tools that allow users to contact us in different ways.
This tool consist on a simple text entry.
It can be accessed through the start menu

This tool let us get useful information from the users system so we can diagnose faster and more accurately the problem.
The window contains a title and description text views. Also a 'Take Screenshot' and 'Add Image' buttons. Apart from the obvious information, the following is sent to our servers:
- System version
- List of process
- List of packages
- dmesg
- syslog
- cmdline.txt file
- config.txt file
- wifi info
- usb devices
- app log files
- hdmi info
- xorg-log
- cpu-info
- lsof
Report a Problem can be accessed through the toolbar widget:
This widget let us push any questions to existent users through our API. Once the question has been answered a new one will be prompted, or the widget will shutdown if there are no more available.
The widget could be in shrink mode:
or expanded:
It will shrink itself when you focus out so it doesn't disturb your desktop workspace.
It has 3 options:
- Contact Us
- Help Center: it opens Kano Help in a browser in App mode.
