Sometimes mappers missuse belongsTo and ownsOne. Somtimes they need to be swapped. I don't think this causes any issues in the data mappers but it is still dumb.

Consider to load the default localization in the application setup and replace default_localization loading in many controllers. Currently always Localization::id === 1 is used in the application setup.

Clicking on another button/link which also changes the tab results in switching to the correct tab but it doesn't highlight the correct tab. This is because the tab highlighting happens in js. Maybe change the logic by binding the input change listener for highlighting the correct tab.

CoreSettings can only be database settings not runtime settings. A dirty workaround is to check if the option has the flag 'session' set to indicate that it is a session setting/option.

Consider to merge the L11nManager into the Localization. This seems redundant at the moment.

Implement a way which allows to change the encryption key (this also applys for defining it for the first time). This would require to 1. encrypt existing settings if it is defined for the first time or 2. decrypt and then encrypt with a new key. The easiest solution would to just define a button in the settings view which says "activate encryption" or "change encryption" + provide input for old encryption key. The problem is, other modules may also have used that key. Consider to create a hook?

Consider to manually create json strings instead of using jsonSerialize() + json_encode. Manual json generation for simple arrays is 20 times faster.

Implement goal definition. Goals could be based on tasks (every completed task represents x%), linear time line (every day represents x%), value based (a calculated value represents x%), manual input based (the user decides the completion %).
