Method to Run & Test the Project Locally

Download the entire project folder and open it with any IDE.

Run npm install to install required dependencies.

Start the webserver to test the Hilink Camping App by running: npm run dev at http://localhost:3000/

Terminate the server by CONTROL+C

Have fun browsing the fully responsive modern camp traveling app!

Prerequisites & Setups

create next.JS app using the latest next.JS 14:

npx create-next-app@latest

Use TypeScript, don’t use ESLint to avoid errors, use Tailwind CSS, don’t need src/ directory, use App Router, and no need to customize the default import alias.
Locate to the root of the newly created app with the package.json file:

cd APP_ROOT_DIRECTORY 

Install Node.JS v18.17.0:

nvm install 18.17.0

Set Node.JS v18.17.0 as default:

nvm alias default 18.17.0

Check if the node version is correct:

node -v

Install ES7 React snippets extension to use rafce in tsx files to auto-generate templates.
