Third, the `put`, `del` & `batch` events (which were deprecated in `abstract-level` 2.0.0) have been removed in favor of the `write` event.

+On to the good news. We have some exciting new features! To start we have "explicit snapshots" which allow you to read previous versions of a database. This will be supported in at least `classic-level` and `memory-level` (see [Level/community#118](https://github.com/Level/community/issues/118)). Here's an example:
