Write a new trace, with one event deleted:
babeltrace <path to existing trace> --component sink.trace-editor.editor --name editor --path <path to new trace> --params delete=<index of event to delete>
babeltrace <path to existing trace> --component sink.trace-editor.editor --name editor --path <path to new trace> --params 'delete="<indexes of events to delete, separated by a comma>"'
babeltrace <path to existing trace> --component sink.trace-editor.editor --name editor --path <path to new trace> --params 'delete-interval="<first index of interval of events to delete>:<last index of interval of events to delete>"'

Use this plugin:
1. add the paths to Makefile of the plugin to the "AC_CONFIG_FILES" variable in configure.ac file + add plugin root to "SUBDIRS" variable in Makefile.am file from plugins directory
2. copy the "plugin/" directory to the <babeltrace source code root>/plugins/
3. ./bootstrap
4. ./configure (from root of babeltrace source code)
5. make
6. make install
7. ldconfig
