Prediction.IO Magento Introduction

This extensions attempts to replace the Magento product recommendations ( related, upsell, crossells ) with a new PredictionIO based recommendation engine.

This extension will cause issues on 32 bit systems due to lower integer limits.
Both your PredictionsIO and your PHP installation must be 64 bit.

Functional Requirements

• Ability to enable/disable the prediction.io functionality.
• Ability to switch between Prediction.io algorithms.
• Ability to replace Related products recommendations.
• Accessible classes for extending
• Clean implementation of the prediction.io SDK
• Stored History for not logged in Customers
• Cron to Update and merge the history

To be discussed:

• Keep track of whether a user/product has been created in the predicitons engine yet.
• Flush local data when changing predictions engines (along with some sort of warning?)
