Turns will be simultaneous. Each player will decide whether or not they are performing and action at each phase, but their actions will not be revealed to other players until the end of the phase (when all players have decided what, if anything, they will be doing). Phases of a turn are as follows:

  1. Reset and Draw Phase - Each player starts with six cards. At the start of the round each player draws two cards.

  2. Main/Planning Phase - Players may play up to two cards into energy zones to use for actions, they may equip gear onto their hero, etc.

  3. Combat Phase

    3.1. Attack - Players determine what they are going to attack, what offensive abilities to use, etc. Every player decides what they are doing at one time, but no attacks/actions are revealed until the end of the phase.

    3.2. Defense - Players may use defensive abilities to counter attacks made against them or their allies. Any character who made an action during the attack phase cannot perform an action during the defense phase.

  4. Resolution Phase - Abilities go through and conflicts are resolved, damage tallied, etc. This marks the end of the round.
