While this is probably a good change, almost all of these places are only called once during initialization (or where they otherwise have a small impact). At this point I'd prefer to minimize changes to the template projects (besides bug fixes) in order to minimize confusion as teams migrate to the kickoff release. But I'll keep the PR open so this can be incorporated for the next round of beta releases. |
