It has greatly increased productivity for those with preexisting experience; however, it has destabilized open source projects, has made programming unfulfilling, has subjected PR reviewers to indignities, has led to widespread psychological suffering (in the case of some reviewers, physical as well), and has inflicted great damage on the github world. |
