Welcome to the wiki for the Mobile Trail Mapping project! Mobile Trail Mapping is being developed as a senior project at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for the Linn County Trails Association of Iowa. Briefly, the MTM project aims to provide:

• A web server or server-side scripts that provide access to GPS data and information about the local trail system
• Both Android and iPhone applications that present maps and info for nearby trails

The project is nearing the point where there's a complete set of documentation and a running Android app. At present, the documentation includes:

• A basic problem statement
• A formal set of project requirements
• A project plan, including
  • The overall plan
  • A test plan
  • An analysis of risks and cost
  • Metrics for use in evaluating the project
  • A maintenance plan
• Expected end-user use cases
• A full system design document
• A documentation style guide
• A shared team blog
