Profile Pic for Contributors

College website maintainer/ designer plays very important role and will be the first point of contact whenever event happens in the college. So identifying them is very important. We request contributor to create Globally Recognized Avatar. Follow steps given below to get your DP. It is also important to have profile picture for all the contributors (both present and past)

1. Create Account in Wordpress if not created.
2. Visit Gravatar Website
3. Click Sign in button in Gravatar, if you are logged in wordpress it will get automatically logged in.
4. Once you Sign-in first time it will goto https://en.gravatar.com/emails/ , You can see Add a new image button, click on it to have new Image.
5. After you upload your image, we need MD5sum to get image. So visit HashGenerator Website
6. There will be a big text Area under Use this generator to create an MD5 hash of a string:
7. In that text area, you have to enter you Email ID and solve captcha then click Generate button
8. You will get a value like this Your Hash: 41c39033134359ca0171676f23f5171d298
9. Now you can have your image by generating the URL https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/41c39033134359ca0171676f23f5171d298?s=256

In the URL https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/ is static

The Hash you got has to be appended after this https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/ so it will become https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/41c39033134359ca0171676f23f5171d298

Then you can have the size of image in pixel by adding ?s=256 , 256 means 256px , we can have upto 2048.
