toggle() changes the open/closed state of the dialog. The implementation assigns the actual functions open and close to the internal function "pointer" _toggle.

As stated in #28: "My pull-request is actively being used for four years without any fix or modification, it can be merged with little to no risk - however, the new function lacks documentation (it does what its name indicates)." As I am the author, I should not be the approver.
