• Update user documentation and associated tools
• Update the .version and .nwm_version (if appropriate) file(s)
• Add notes to the appropriate section of NEWS.md
• Create release via GitHub including release notes and an updated test case(s)
• Update training Docker images to pull the appropriate release assets and code(s)
• Update training lessons to accommodate changes in the new test case(s) if needed
