- Weak link flexures for all translations
- Vertical translation system has four stepper motors, so is overconstrained. Extra axis is twist, and needs to be maintained at zero.
- Weak link flexures for all translations
- Limited yaw capability, so X translations need to move in parallel
Axis | Motor type | Controller type | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
X upstream | SmarAct | SmarAct | Native direction is opposite to NSLS-II standard. Home is at inboard hardstop (check this, not consistent with sensor definition in controller) |
X downstream | SmarAct | SmarAct | Native direction is opposite to NSLS-II standard. Home is at inboard hardstop (check this, not consistent with sensor definition in controller) |
Y upstream | Stepper | Delta Tau | Negative limit switch is positioned too high, cannot retract mirror from beam path |
Y upstream | Stepper | Delta Tau | |
Z | SmarAct | SmarAct | Home at downstream hardstop (check vs configured sensor type) |
