Housing in Nantes

• Student dormitory at IMT-A (Maison des Eleves)

  • Look at the page Maison des Eleves for more information
  • Get the registration letter from MDE, sign it and return it to MDE (the offices are at the back entrance of Maison des Eleves)
  • Activate the internet in the Maison des Eleves http://www.emn.fr/cnxmde/index.php/cnxmde. There is an ethernet socket in your bedroom, close to the telephone connector (an inverted T) - There is no wireless in your room. Ask for a cable to the hardware responsible ([see responsibilities][responsibilities])

• It is probably the best to get in touch with Maison des Chercheurs Etrangers: not only can they provide temporary housing, but they also have contacts to find permanent housing. They could also try the CROUS, but it is not very clear whether they would be eligible. Otherwise, they'll have to look for offers either from agencies or private individuals.

• An agency that specializes in student apartments: https://www.adele.org/residence/agglomeration/nantes/logement-etudiant We did not test it, but they have reasonable offers on their site when compared with other rent agencies around Nantes.
