Wait, before we backport this, is the old version broken on kernels older than 6.1? Are we introducing a breaking change?

Maybe not, perhaps the old version will build for kernels <= 6.1

But since kernel upgrades (even major ones) are backported I am inclined to backport this.

Getting this as an issue with pkgs.linuxPackages_latest now referring to kernel 6.11 on stable, would love to see this merged.

Also, for anyone else getting this issue, I recommend sticking with 6.10 for now by setting this:
kernelPackages = pkgs.linuxPackagesFor (pkgs.linuxKernel.kernels.linux_6_10);
