Feature Request: ability to disable login

I am the only user of this application which is installed as a desktop app on a machine that is not connected to the internet. The process for logging in is inconvenient and seems unnecessary since I have to log into the machine and no other users could access the application.

When I'm installing the application I have to manually updated the encrypted password in the application's database which is not very intuitive. I also get booted out of the application every so often and have to re-enter the login credentials. If I have any unsaved work it is gone when I log back in. I can get booted out while I'm in the middle of using the application.
