ATLAS slows down drastically, when viewing Characterization reports, Cohort Pathways visualization #2954

Expected behavior - One should be able to scroll through the characterization report or interact with cohort pathway visualization seamlessly as any other web page

Actual behavior - After a few minutes of opening the report or visualization, Atlas slows down to the point that it becomes impossible to scroll or filter to view results

Steps to reproduce behavior - Open characterization report or a cohort pathway visualization
