GitHub issue pull requests

To address a GitHub issue please:

1. Create a new branch named issue_XXX (where XXX is the GitHub issue number) off the develop branch
2. Add/revise code that addresses the issue and make sure to add test coverage for any new code
3. When ready check that the new code passes R checks and then make a pull request into develop
4. Make sure the pull request references the GitHub issue
