GUI shows the html manual page, so to switch to the markdown documentation, the source html file needs to changed. To look decent and avoid displaying the entire page with sidebars and other stuff, this extracts only relevant part of the mkdocs html. The PR also removes unused code.
This is draft, I want to test it more when the md files are converted.
