Privacy

Privacy is important, this is one of the reasons why Notepack was created. You should be able to use application anonymously. All files as stored in selected backend and only there. If you save file locally then only you have access to those files. If you choose to storage files using WebDav only you and server administrator have access to them. No account or registration is required to be able edit plain text files, you can use Notepack offline with full functionalities.

sometimes check if newer version was published - this is only internet request from application. Application check https://notepackapp.com/version.json to get last published version.

Notepack is open source, you can build exactly the same version from source, it's quite easy but some programming skills are required
