OpMon is a project whose main purpose is to make a game inspired by Nintendo's famous license Pokémon. This project has been started in September 2016 and imagined in 2012. Quite a long and unstable development since we were beginners at the time: we started in high school, and now we’re in university. The project has been restarted multiple times, but we decided it’s time to finish it once and for all so we switched from C++ to Godot: this was the final reboot.
OpMon is totally free and open source. You can participate to the development by reading this document.
Thank you for following the OpMon development!
If you have any questions, you can ask them on our discord server ! The commonalities and differences with Pokemon are available here.
This wiki has the goal to explain multiple things about the code, graphics, and directions taken for the development. It also contains a development log updated monthly.
On this project, we are two principal creators:
- Cyrielle, main programmer and scenarist
- Navet56, game and graphic designer
But we are many others on this project, you can see the full list here. If you are willing to participate in the project, your name will be added here if you want!
