Description of the issue

You provide the project open-MaStR (https://github.com/OpenEnergyPlatform/open-MaStR). This project is described as follows:
The python package open-mastr provides an interface for accessing the data. It contains methods to download and parse the xml files (bulk) and the SOAP web service (API). In this repository we are developing methods to analyze, validate and enrich the data. We want to collect and compile post processing scripts to improve data quality.
Is it possible to annotate the data from MaStR using the ontology? If not, maybe it would be a good idea to offer this?

Ideas of solution

Workflow checklist

  • I discussed the issue with someone else than me before working on a solution
  • I already read the latest version of the workflow for this repository
  • The goal of this ontology is clear to me

I am aware that

  • every entry in the ontology should have a definition
  • classes should arise from concepts rather than from words

Back in 2019 we had already an issue #67 on including MaStR terms in the OEO. But this ended with a result.

I think there was not really a result, actually, right @christian-rli? Anyway, it would be a useful addition to oeo. Maybe as Master thesis project?

If I recall correctly, we had a long list of terms. Our student considered implementing these in his thesis, but his focus shifted away from this specific task. I agree that it's a nice project for a master's thesis.
