R node usage should be kept at minimum and self-contained #8

keep it to a minimum: no R-View (Workflow) or snippets
self-contained: do not assume internet access for install.packages, so download the package and put it on the usb stick

I guess you are right for the hands-on tutorials. There should always be at least an offline version of the workflows.
Is this an issue with the current workflows?
