The issue of old files still persists:

https://pointclouds.org/documentation/tutorials/pcd_file_format.html

This is because:

Tutorial websites (normal and advanced) aren't integrated with PCL's pages
We aren't using 404 to navigate intelligently
We are serving old-old files still in documentation
