There are three goals in collaborating on the Stanford Participatory Budgeting Platform with the Crowdsourced Democracy Team.

(1) Establish democratic decision-making on budgeting for Project Persephone. The voting members determine the use of donations, investment earnings, and revenue from the organization's sales and services, and investment earnings.

(2) Help to introduce and support this style of decision-making about budgets to people in Project Persephone beneficiary regions. Funds consisting of some combination of Project Persephone grants-in-aid, tax revenues in localities and local donations could be apportioned democratically.

(3) Establish participatory budgeting as the mechanism for allocating funds and other resources within virtual exovivaria, terrestrial prototypes and eventual orbital exovivaria.
