Initial release

What's Changed

This is the initial version of the cookbook following the 2025 cook-off, with some additional polishing. We demonstrate new functionality in xbatcher and show an example workflow on topography data. @nkalauni added some testing code for the draft PR, but we decided not to include this in the cookbook itself.
