Releases: QuillInkwell/Tiled-TMJ-To-CDDA-Mapgen
0.2 Error Handling Edition
This version should be much less likely to crash overall. Still follow the instructions in the Readme. One slight difference it now exports directly into one file instead of two separate files. And you can choose where that file is saved to.
Supports
- Exporting Tiled Maps into CDDA Mapgen
- Creating a palette automatically
- Auto-Assigning map Keys
- Allowing the user to manually assign their desired Map Keys (Now it won't totally die if you accidently duplicate your keys!)
Does not Support
- Running on any operating system other than Windows.
- Providing any assistance to the Tileset creation process what so ever.
- Using Tiled for anything but the bare minimum of terrain and furniture placement. (No items, itemgroups, vehicles, monsters, none of that!)
- Grouping your z-level layers. (Seriously don't group your layers, except maybe while you're working. I do that. But don't forget to ungroup them before you export.)
- Reading Maps from CDDA (This is a tool for getting the big chunk of mapgen done. I don't really care about manually editing JSON after the big stuff is out of the way.)
- Reading Palettes from CDDA. This one I will probably fix. Eventually. Even I want this.
Included:
This time I did the none stupid thing and just put the exe in one zip file and the tilesets in the other. Included in the Tilesets zip is my old Magiclysm Tilesets. As well as the latest version of my Aftershock Tilesets.

Included:
If you download the one with Tilesets I included all Tilesets I am currently using in my Mapgen projects. Be it the forge of wonders. The Magic Cabins. Or my various Aftershock projects. They might be useful as examples but you also pretty much use them directly if you want.
