distutils-pytest - Call pytest from a setup.py script

This Python module implements a test command for a setup.py script. The command will call pytest to run your package's test suite.

System requirements

Python

• 3.4 and newer.

Required library packages

• setuptools
• pytest

Optional library packages

These packages are only needed in certain cases:

• setuptools_scm

  The version number is managed using this package. All source distributions add a static file with the version number and fall back using that if setuptools_scm is not available. So this package is only needed to build out of the plain development source tree as cloned from GitHub.

Installation

You can install python-icat from PyPI using pip:

$ pip install distutils-pytest
