This is our mid-term report including several links to file- and information locations.

• Instead we have showcased our project directly and with our blog posts where our progress is documented in detail.

Semester 3 Recap

✅ Last but not least we have made a small development recap of all weeks of 3rd semster:

🔗 Week 1

• Established team roles
• Decided on our project idea
• Discussed and submitted project details to the instructor
• Initiated project setup on GitHub, including the creation of a wiki

🔗 Week 2

• Introduction of the team
• Product vision: CookHub as an online recipe book with unique features
• Technologies chosen for the project
• Establishment of project rules and setup of scrum platform, including GitHub initialization, issue templates, and sprint meeting details

🔗 Week 3

• Created our srs.md file with Software Requirements Specification
• Created UML diagram via draw.io
• Created login page via figma
• Created profile page via figma
• Created settings page via figma

🔗 Week 4

• Activity diagrams created for login, logout, and recipe creation.
• Two sequence diagrams developed for login and OpenAI processes.
• Overhauled UML, including use-case diagram.
• Redesigned profile page mockup.
• Updated srs.md with the added functional requirements

🔗 Week 5

• Implementation of Testing-Frameworks
• Implementation of CI/CD workflow

🔗 Week 6

• Slight adjustments to project structure
• Created CRC, ER/EER, and class diagrams
• Adjusted login and openai sequence diagrams
• Testing ongoing ChatGPT prompts for wrapping up recipes into adventure stories to determine the best prompts and customer satisfaction

🔗 Week 7

• Extended UML class diagram covering the entire application
• Implemented React components, making MVC structure visible
• Determined and documented 2 design principles: MVC and Dependency Injection
• Team agreement to adhere to design principles
• Progression in coding: added functionality to links on landing page, created Impressum, FAQs, and About Us pages, established -database connections

🔗 Week 8

• Introduction of a new team member/mascot, Chef Carlos
• Implementation of the Landing Page mockup design
• Implementation of the Login Page mockup design
• Update of the srs.md document to include Architecture Significant Requirements (ASR) and clarification of quality attribute requirements using a utility tree
• Research and testing conducted on specific prompts to enhance resolutions with OpenAI ChatGPT for adventure generation
