IA Project Interviews Interview 2
Interview was conducted via email on 4 October 2018, between Lana Brindley (LB), located in Australia, and Torsten Hallmann <[email protected]> (TH).
Raúl Osuna Sánchez-Infante is a SUSE Sales Engineer for the Central Europe region.
Who are our users (both internal and external)?
It is used internally and externally. Internally from support/consulting/presales. I mainly speak with my presales hat on: If customers ask for features or requirements we always want to link to written statements from us as proof point or to direct to instructions how to do stuff. This is mainly when I get to review our documentation.
What experience and knowledge do they have?
It got better already. It was quite bad at the beginning of SUSE Manager. To be honest I cannot tell you how the perception is in meantime. And I myself are not a good feedback candidate, as I typically search for specific cases/questions and do not read the documentation from end to end. If I find issues, I typically use the feedback link on our webpages.
What environments are they working within? How are they using SUMA? Have they read our existing documentation, and do they have feedback for us? What information do they look for when working with SUMA, and where do they go to find it?
Cannot answer as I’m involved less and less in implementations but more in presales phase only.
