Example 1: DocentEDU

DocentEDU is a browser extension to perform Web annotation. Creating a class in DocentEDU for our team provides many advantages for communication about web development especially for discussions for graphical styles.

After clicking docentEDU extension icon in Firefox and Google Chrome browsers, docentEDU menu appears. Sticky notes and highlights could be seen by teacher if student gives permission. Moreover, students can pick up where they left off by going back to the docent via the original assigned link or going to the page and clicking on the docentEDU extension.

I tested DocentEDU using Bloomberg Middleeast and my old BMISystem project, which is developed for SWE 573 class, deployed in Amazon Web Services.
