Workflow

Workflow is such an important part of Rock that we included the ability to add workflow to Rock. For the most part you can create a new workflow (or reuse and existing one) and use it in the app. There is a Workflow block that works nearly identical to the User Entry block.

Field Types

Rock has a lot of ways to input data... aka Field Types. Avalanche will automatically convert the most used of these web based inputs into native controls for you. Not every field type can easily be represented by native controls or are very necessary in a mobile app. The person picker is a perfect example of this. If Avalanche cannot automatically convert a field type it will default to an entry input.

The following Field Types currently have converters:

• Address
• Boolean
• Select Multi
• Select Single
• Text
• Email
• Url Link
• Currency
• Decimal

Redirecting

Sometimes you will want to finish a mobile workflow by redirecting them to another page. There is a special redirect action for this under the Avalanche category. Do not use the normal redirect action as it will not give the correct data to the workflow.
