Java Enterprise Project Vacancy

Specification

Design and implement:

• REST API using Hibernate/Spring/SpringMVC
• UI API using additionally JSP, JSTL, DataTables plugin, jQuery, jQuery notification, Bootstrap, Ajax
• Swagger Api Documentation

The task is: Build a vacancies search, choice and store in dataBase, which are filling from public resources The most popular IT resources were selected:

Djinni, ItJobs, JobBank, JobsBG, JobsMarketUA, JobsMarket, DOU, LinkedIn, NoFluffJobs, UAJooble, Work, Zaplata

All query statistics (updates, filtering, voting) are stored in the database

2 types of users: admin and regular users Admin can input/delete/update/get a vacancies and users, reload DB by every reques (language, workplace) 1 time / 2 hours

Users can control own profile and vote vacancy which like him, reload DB by every reques (language, workplace) 1 time / 4 hours

Java Enterprise: Maven/ Spring/ Security/ JPA(Hibernate)/ REST(Jackson).

• main application classes: [Vacancy, Employer, User, Vote, Freshen]

• all data is stored in database [PostgreSQL, Heroku PostgreSQL], or [H2] (web.xml default param-value h2)

• tests use the database [HSQLDB], profile [hsqldb-test]

• requests of authorized users are served (profile)

• Anonymous users are invited to register and log in

• updating data from resources, also responses to requests use the TO class [VacancyTo]

• business logic is in the services layer

• selection of data from resources and sorting are configured mainly for the middle segment

• repository [Spring Data JPA]

• transactional [Springframework]

• connection pool [Tomcat]

• cache [EhCache-based Cache], cached "list of all users"

• for Rest basic authorization [SpringSecurity]

• access to resources by roles: /rest/admin/**' - 'ADMIN' /rest/profile/** - 'USER' /anonymous/** - login access

• for UI, the credentials of an authorized user are stored in the session

• testing REST controllers [Junit5]

• service testing [Junit4]

• browser [AJAX, DataTables, jQuery, jQuery notification plugin, Bootstrap]

• error handling [ExceptionInfoHandler, GlobalExceptionHandler]
